need help with vortex

so i installed vortex got it sorted to mod for skyrim se and fallout 4 but when i launch skyrim se on the manger it said failed to load master-/user list for skyrim se no idea what that means or what to do would like any help if that plan on playing skyrim again. thanks

Don't run Skyrim through Vortex but instead use the normal Steam setup.

Problem is that you still need Steam to validate your copy, which won't work if you run the game directly.

Have you already run Skyrim from the steam shortcut? You need to run it atleast once through to the title screen from the Bethesda launcher

so i launch skyrim through launcher vortex still give me the notice

may be the network problem.
vortex accesses loot api to build masterlist file, if u have network problem it can't be done.
then u will get an 'failed load master/user list' error because masterlist file doesn't exist.
