Vortex and MO2 Help cant find Skyrim SE

MO installed tried to run fnis through MO Anti Virus Kicked in and uninstalled MO no i cant install MO again Access Denied, so i download Vortex and it cant find Skyrim SE. When I Manually search through files with file explorer I find exe np but when i search through Vortex there are no files in Skyrim SE folder

It seems alot of my problems are my pc blocking access to everything.
when i clean install skyrim it comes installed with skse, a new .dll for some scripts and floating healthbars skse64 plugin HELP ME PLEASE

When you're looking for the folder through vortex, just select the game folder itself and click select folder, don't go inside the folder.

Better yet: set the Vortex folder to "common" (so: steam\steamapps\common). This way the client might even find other games as well.

You can change this by starting Vortex, go to your Settings and then select the 'games' tab. There you can add (and remove) all the directories Vortex needs to look at.

Warning: if you perform a 'quick scan' (option in the games section) then there is a chance that Vortex doesn't find anything, even if you pointed it to the right directory. The solution is simple: go to your dashboard and click "scan for missing games" instead.

I haven’t got a games tab under settings and when I look for Skyrim special edition it only has Skyrim or Skyrim VR. When I click and manually show it the folder it’s looking for the original Skyrim not the Skyrimse.exe but the TESV.exe.

What should I do I even tried renaming the exe file in the file.

Did you ever find a solution? I've got the same problem. Skyrim Special Edition will launch just fine through Steam - but Vortex doesn't show it under Games. It shows Skyrim and Skyrim VR, but no Skyrim SE
