Figure out what you did wrong in the installation and look at the mcm options.

I did, I used Nexus Mod Manger Installation and tried every option in the MCM. I deleted it and reinstalled it. Nothing seems to work.

It was the truth ... they installed the mod incorrectly, or more likely had a setting toggled wrong in the MCM.

The real question of course is why you felt the need to necro such an old thread.

Maybe because he was googling for a answer and got a useless response when trying to fix his own problem. Its incredibly frustrating when you search for a solution for a problem you have and encounter someone dropping dumb ass responses.

Then he's even dumber than the OP's "But I did everything right; honest!" response since NMN is long gone. TK Dodge is/was a "finicky" mod and if you aren't smart enough to read the instructions and fine tune the MCM settings, especially the encumbrance ones it has a habit of acting up.

Hey, here's an idea, let's use Google and try to apply troubleshooting tips from the DOS era to fix your modern operating system issues. 🙄

If your dodge roll is only dodging forward, it usually means there is either a broken installation OR there is a mismatch between the SKSE version, and the version of TKs Dodge.

If you have the most recent version of Skyrim SE, then make sure your SKSE64 is up to date, and TKs Dodge mod current version matches the SKSE version listed.

If you are like me and still using the previous update, figure out which version of SKSE64 you are using, then download whichever of TKs Dodge files matches up with that version.

... It's almost certainly the encumbrance settings, at least that was how I fixed the damned issue once upon a time. 🙄

Smash the computer with a big hammer a bunch of times. That should probably do it.
