Crashing at Whiterun

I started playing again and I've removed all my old mods and added only a few back but now I constantly crash at Whiterun everywhere else is fine its just Whiterun.

if this is your load order, then you should sort it because it is wrong. unofficial skyrim patch should come at the top directly below the official DLCs.

as tip for the next time, you can easily copy paste your load order with LOOT. if you dont know how, open LOOT and click on the 3 dots upper right corner and copy load order. if you dont own LOOT, then you can download it at https://loot.github.io/

So I've downloaded LOOT I've organized my load order but for some reason my whiterun still crahses I dont know what to do about it anymore. I removed my ELFX but still nothing as soon as I try to load the area in anyway the game just crashes

Hi, I've the same problem, I've already sorted with LOOT, but still crash near Whiterun. I thougt that could be the mod of Follower Sofia, or Skyland, or Immersive Citizen, without all of them, the game still crash. I've tried new save game clean, but nothing.

What I found is that its the whiterun market that makes me crash. I installed open cities mod and I can climb the wall near the castle but as soon as I get near the market it Crashes

It would seam you have reach the 256 limit.

You should try to create a Bashed patch to reduce the number.

The Bash tool is not something I have tried yet, so I don't know how to create them.

As for FP, a handy dandy way to try and find out what's causing a crash is going into your skyrim ini and enabling logging.

To OP:

Yeah, immersive armors has a tendancy to cause issues, and is no longer receiving bugfixes. It's a real shame because I would love to use the mod.

Other than that, KS dragons overhaul might also cause issues in the future. Might. I had to disable it because it was creating a LOT of log errors and causing crashes a while back. I use deadly dragons/diverse dragons instead.

The armors are fine quality in them NGL. Guess I'll have to avoid that one being in my new load order from now on.
