ReOpenning: How bugged is Skyrim SE in 2019?
Last Skyrim I played was the Legendary Edition, so bare with me. I want to go back to Skyrim. They say that with the SpecialE the game is much improved however there are still a lot of bugs. This is from many posts I read from 2017 & 2018. How does SE compare today? And what are some bugs to watch out For? I remember back in the LE I usually sold the weapons I was given for completing Ulfric's reign quests and then I got stuck at a quest, where I was unable to interract properly with an NPC that was supposed to give me a quest, because I had sold some item. Are there any other similar bugs, like dont sell Jamal's poopdeck until bla bla or dont do that quest until something that I should watch out for?

Read my discussion post - you'll get the idea of SSE bugs. They're horrible.

From my experience I never saw any bug that was gamebreaking, there may have been some couple minor bugs but I didn't notice any, and played both vanilla and modded game. USSEP should adress most of the bugs that are noticable and, if there is any, gamebreaking.

USLEEP is still a thing for this game if bugs are your concern.

Other than that, its an open world bethesda game. Which is basically a way of saying, yes there are bugs in it.

The unofficial Skyrim SE patch does fix most - but not all - of the quest bugs in the game. I played the original Oldrim and I have only experienced 2 quest bugs (sidequests - not main storyline bugs) Most of the other bugs I encountered in Oldrim were fixed in Skyrim SE with the USSEP. Exceptions were one bug was "Blood on the Ice" which I was able to finish regardless of all the NPCs that never showed up for the second part of the quest. Another was the Brawl Bug which the USSEP doesn't address. Luckily, there's a patch mod on the Nexus that fixes that.

Yeah, after having to wait 5 days (ingame) for that dude with the knife to finally show up outside the merchant stalls.

Not sure what you are doing. I pretty much complete that quest in like 4 game hours (I am on timescale 8 though.)

IF you can do better than a legion of guards indeed. .....YES I CAN! Are you turning the Wizard guy in or skipping the steward? I always skip the steward and god straight to the wizard guy. Hopefully its dusk or later and I can wrap this puppy up really quick. (Gotta wait until around 8pm ) or for the stable lady to walk to the market.)

I talk to the wizard dude, which leads me to the steward. Then I wait around for nightfall for him to show up. And most of the time it doesn't happen. I've tried reloading the game, reloading the area, fast travelling, waiting 24 hours, reloading the entire damn cell, and nothing seems to work. This part of the quest only ever seems to work whenever the planets align.

Could be Immersive Citizens or the mod that sends people indoors when It rains or tells them to Run from Danger or one of the other mods I have makes it run right. I am just glad it works.
