Want my character to look like a teenager guy plz!
I always wanted to role play as a teen, such as myself to feel somewhat immersive. I'm getting pretty fed up playing as an older guy. I've been looking everywhere to find mods to make my character look a lot younger but no luck. young adult is the best I can find. There's a ton of mods of teen girls but no guys... So yeah if anyone can help me I'd appreciate sooo much. :)

Wish I could help, but just don't know offhand as to any mods that change appearance to that.

I find it really amusing that given that the fan base is often young male adults, there are no character presets that depict that. I guess they figure that the average male teen's dream ideal is - "Yeah! Always wanted to play as some old dude! In fact, can't wait to get old and be one in real life, too!" Nope, wrong - LOL!

It's because in nearly every country the stereotypical idealistic characteristic of a true male is to be chiseled and muscular - of which is only possible to a post-pubescent.

True, Shane. But at least for games and in-game character creation, it would be nice if the designers would provide more options. But, as with so many things, it is what it is, and unless one is willing and able to make the changes themself, one just has to deal with it.

With Racemenu mod you can make younger looking characters. It takes work. You will still have adult height (You can change your base scale if that matters). Just start with a preset and work at it. Maybe with one of the more normal looking presets (which for men is rare). I haven't done it for men (usually aim for late 20s / early 30s look. I have one old guy. Woman characters I have from around 18 (Childhood friend of Eric the Slayer Alt Start) to Early 40s Mature.

Just have a clear vision of what you want the end result to be (but be flexible as ...you will likely get bored before achieving it and settle for good enough). That is also applicable elsewhere in life.

The problem is that you can't really easily do a good job of this kind of adjustment without something like this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MakeHuman

that interpolates between multiple targets based on average body proportion measurements for different ages.

Not surprisingly, this is complicated especially when you add rigging and clothing. So games tend to not incorporate an elaborate system like this. That's why everyone in skyrim looks like either an adult or a 9 year old.

Teen in Skyrim? Don't let any of your stats go past 25 then.

This is the closest I have seen. I have not been looking though, just happen to see a youtube video of someone playing it yesterday. It is for regular Skyrim, not SE;

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the help. I've been playing with the racemenu mod for a while now. Not the best at it but It will do for now.

Oh, the other reason for lack anyone other than adults and 9 year olds seems to be that the game has a design objective of being ESRB compliant, or something, where there is no violence by or against children. Like if you notice the mod guidelines on Bethesda's web site, it says they will delete anything involving violence and children (so no mods that enable you to kill children or enable children to fight etc.) So it makes sense to leave out any intermediate ages like anyone old enough to theoretically deal some damage but young enough to not be an adult, otherwise the artificial invulnerability/harmlessness would stand out too much and look too artificial.

@Shane
Thats how ♥♥♥♥ gets done. If all the presets were 120 lb kids in skinny jeans taking a selfies while complaining about nothing we wouldn't get past level one.

@NimrodX there are few teens though(not sure tbh). Atleast there is in-game body made for such age group.

Closest I got is this:

Open the console '~'
- type in 'player.setscale 0.9
- Close console
- Watch your character become smaller

Yeah, this is apparently a thing with ESRB, that violence against children (that causes visible harm and doesn't just make them run away unharmed) is forbidden. Bioshock just got through the loophole by having their children not technically being normal children (though they are children).
