As both of you run this game on GTX 650/660 - downgrading video drivers version may actually help. Or not, you never know until you try.
For me game runs perfectly fine on GTX 650 with 472.12 installed, going any newer gives 50/50 chance to crash on load/random turn ingame. Also, for Win10 it may be different driver version.

@Doumtom and others who run more modern rigs with no 10+ years old graphics cards: experimenting with video drivers version may solve your problems too, no guarantee though.

Updating to latest drivers != updating to most stable drivers for any specific app/game.

Haven't played in awhile. Getting this problem too. Works fine for a few turns then crashes with this error when I hit continue to start a new turn.

game always crashes for me after turn 50 regardless of race. I've done everything, from reinstalling even steam on a different file and re-downloading just Gladius. changing graphic settings will sometimes yield a later crash. I'm running with a RTX 4090 and nothing seems like it is overclocking.

Tried every driver since Marts 2024 with no luck, so far I am playing one turn at a time and save at the end so its easy to get back where I where.

same problem here... tried a lot of things and nothing works... gt 740 win 10... I had a problem with mega drive classics and I fixed the problem instaling a windows tool to read graphics or send graphics info that all windows had and the problem are that the win 10 dont have this VERSION of the tools installed like old win... its graphics problems and the moment you had the right tool to read the bug are fixed... I dont know if here we had the same problem but too many people with same problem its a comum thing and its a good thing because the chance someone find a fix its great.... My intuition says to me that its a nvidia problem.... always before the 40 k crashs, the graphics start to bug with a lot of pointed bugs on ambient (I had the same graphic problem with civilization VI but dont crashs, this is why I was imagining if it starts with graphic problem and crashs when)... looks like the graphics start to bug, and acumulate memo trying to give us the visualization of the bug says the graphics to give but acumulate a lote of then & causes a void, no memo and crashs...(I dont know if Im right but my perception translates the situation to something like that)... why I say that its a nvidia problem? because the civilization, with the driver version that cames from factory, I had ZERO graphic bug (I dont tred it on 40K yet)
