You put a Hospitaller on it and get research. It's not as much prayer as much as finding 'caches' of relics and whatnot.
If you're not SoB, ignore or destroy them.
Edit: I need to do testing if a given Hosptialler counts. I.E being on a team with SoB and they die, you get a Hospitaller and use it to boost your own research.
Thanks; I don't have the SoB DLC. That and the Drukhari DLCs are the only ones I do not have. Either worth getting? I did buy the SoB DLC but refunded it, because the graphics stutter from one of the start units was driving me nuts.
some ppl beliving they are the strongest race in Gladius, i see them far from that.
they use the same resources as SM.
there city mechanic is special, they can found more "citys" , but they can only have one "maincity" all other citys beside that have only radius 1 instead of 3 when it comes to landclaim.
there racial gives them loyalty per citytile.
there weapons total depend on bolter/melter/flamer/sword, exept for units build in the mercenary building (a melee knight and airforce)
the big knackpoint i have with there rooster is there practical noneexistant ways to heal vehicles. they have a worldprayer that heals all units (for very few hp) or the must rely on heros with the recreation gauntlet.
you can say now its fine, they are mostly inf dependant. welllll.....
i say there best units are there avenger plane and there battlesuits. problem with the suits is they count as mechanical, so no heal from hospitalers for them.
they need the holy ground research mechanic, because there only other choise to generate research (beside the research book building) is there vehicle bay.
sidenote: the "mercenary building" generates requistion and power, and needs influence as upkeep, without the need of power.
Thanks. What is the "recreation gauntlet," by the way? Generic shop item? Or is it a Sisters-specific item?
Thanks. I will look for it right now.
True, the lack of good vehicle healing is a weakness but I don't think that its a crippling problem.
Both they and the Drukhari have a focus on infantry ... which is something I love about them. Otherwise they are pretty much the opposite of each other. The Drukhari are extremely mobile and deadly ... the Sisters generally more durable and slow, focussed on synergies with their support units, Well ... and they are obviously purely good ... in a brightly incinerating way ... whereas the Drukhari are ... well ... pretty much what the Sisters expect every alien species to be like.
To Lampros:
I like both Drukhari and the Sisters ... but if you are referring to the Hospitaller unit as one with the 'graphical stuttering' issues ... aside from their use as city builders and occasionally as research boosters - by visiting holy sites - ... those are essential support units for the Sisters of Battle. If you can't stand them. that is very likely going to be an issue.
Thanks for the details! Yeah, I recall that they were likely units I'd need throughout the game, so I refunded. Hmm, no mods to address it? I guess I will only get the Drukhari DLC then.
