To heal vehicles you can either stand still doing nothing for a few turns.
Depending on where you stand the faster your vehicle will heal.
This applies to all units.
Land: 10% (Corrected)
Outposts: +50%
Cities: +100%
Overwatch break the heal.
Outposts and cities also provide extra cover.
Aircraft can only heal in Outposts you or your ally control
Ah, so I guess to get an active heal, I'd need to bring another unit that can heal a vehicle hero. Thanks!
Edit: With such sophisticated future technology, you'd think Astra Militarum would have created a reinforced repair vehicle. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, Enginseers are too fragile to count on! ;(
You're welcome! Yes, you have to bring another unit to decrease the down time.
The Techpriest Enginseers are very squishy and soft!
Then again, so are the healer units for other factions as well.
I think the "tankiest" is the Chaos Warpsmith. It's also the best vehicle healer in the game (I think)
Edit:
About the aircraft and outposts and cities.
They do get the defence bonus (weirdly)
I have another idea. I guess use Commissars (with the shop item) to heal the Tank Commanders. It's not like Commissars are kicking butt in the front-lines anyways! ;)
Pull back, skip a turn and you are good to go.
Thanks for the suggestions!
not sure where that Myth came from, but they have the same heal rules as everything else: dont use action or movement points, dont get attacked, ground defines the rate, thats it.
he is outclased by Miles from the AdMech Healer Hero, the Necron Healer will give him also a run for his money. and his own pal, the Master of Possesion, does a more general Healing job better, makeing the Warpsmith obsolete in his own Faction.
Thanks for the fascinating lore bit. While I know a ton of Warhammer Fantasy lore, I know next to nil about 40k. So that was truly enlightening and does explain much. (Of course, it doesn't prevent them from engaging in space travel! ;)
I don't think it is a myth because it is how it actually work!

That is why I wrote "I think" in parentheses! xD
I don't agree on the Master of Possession since they changed him actually blood sacrificing meaning he kill himself...
Also who are the Smurfs you keep referring to?
