Ty for adding Wraithlords to the game, next Striking Scorpions! :D
Thanks for listening to my feedback about the Eldar, devs. The Eldar roster, its not that it was weak but it felt so incomplete that they felt lackluster.

The dark reapers really fixed a lot of their issues allowing you to focus on ground troops instead of relying on tank spam.

I'm just reinstalling the game now so I havn't tested the Wraithlord yet but I look forward to it. It's not that I wanted the unit badly, it's just that it's an iconic Eldar unit, that everyone likes.

Next I would suggest Striking Scorpions. The wraith guys fill the role of the next tier melee unit from Howling Banshees, my problem is they require energy. Striking Scorpions could be another melee option that require food, to be stronger than howling banshees. Just an idea. Thanks again for the new units.

Yeah this new DLC is pretty good at rounding things out, but there's at least another round of units to go. Chaos is still missing stuff, though I like finally having terminators without resorting to mods.

including scorpions woud bring zero to the rooster. they fill nearly the exact same role (at least in TT) but with a weaker (not stronger) basis than Banshees. they have 1 armor more, but weaker weapons, and the mandiblaster small dmg dont makes up in the slightest compared to the banshee howl. they coud get infiltration in TT, but that woud only be another point that makes them equial to banshees in Gladius.
the old Craftworld Harlequins woud be a legit choise, but unfortunaly Greedy Wonkers outsourced them to be there own extracashgrab minirooster. same problem why we dont get Genestealers for Tyranids in Gladius i guess...

Whatever happened to warp-spiders? Are they even a thing these days? Or just a throwback to the Dawn of War days?

People don't want them for some reason, including the devs. I have been requesting warp-spiders since the Eldar first released, to no avail. Here you see an example of a thread where they literally request striking scorpions, the most useless unit they could add to their roster, instead of the Warp Spiders....

I've tried to make them, but there is no animation/mesh that can be used to build a good model. So, i gave up.

maybe the animations and overall skeleton of kabalite trueborn work? enlarge their backpacks and they could look like the teleportation device of warp spiders but thats just a shot in the dark

The extra arms are an issue :/ and they have ranged and melee weapons. Very tricky.

warp spiders melee weapon? not in my books as long we dont talk Exarch, and teh Gladius Devs avoid this strongpoint of eldar (they are tons stronger than sergants of other races) like the plague.
if they woud make Warp Spiders they woud drive them totaly before the next wall, because they have some very important dice role mechanics for movement and Armor ignoration, and we already seen how they wrecked the Craftworld Eldars with there Hard Number substitution for every mechanic (thats a part why the Eldar in Gladius come around so wimpy and fragile)

Warp Spider in a Nutshell for ppl who dont know them from TT:
weapon range like Eldar Guards, but with more Power, but zero AP, exept a dice role says you ignore the Armor nearly Complete.
armor like a SM (like all better armored Aspect Shrine Eldar)
a jump generator that gives them Jumpjet move rules, and another move after the attack (yes they move at 2 different times) with a random range and teh chance to loose a model for the second move.

and this weapon statistics and this second move rule give the devs all room in the world to make warp spiders subpar to even orc boys with there Hard Numbering...

You're right, melee weapons is for Exarch.
