Is this free game worth it?

Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War is now free and it said it's a discount of 100%, meaning $0.00.

I saw that and immediately added that to my library. However, I read the review and learned that the DLC policy is disrespectful and the pricing of these DLC are predatory as hell.

My question: Even tho I got this for FREE, should I still keep it in my library or remove it? Should I still play this game OR avoid this at all costs?

Full Disclosure: Idk a thing or 2 about Warhammer and was interested in the tabletop aspect but they are so expensive. I thought video games are a great way to get into the lore.

Most of the DLCs add whole new playable factions to the game and cost ~$15.
They were released over many years of this game's continuous support and only because the fans kept asking for these specific factions.

How in the world is it predatory?

The Proxy team is just a handful of people. This game isn't selling hundreds of thousands of copies. There are no Whales subsidising your gaming experience. This is the cost of a well supported game by a small developer.

By "predatory" people just mean new expansion are full price. Yes, but if you are like me and still playing this game all these years later then $10 isn't a lot. I want to support the devs. I want them to continue making expansions.

Or they mean there are "predatory" promotions like this one which promote buy-in and tempt players with a full priced product. Just have some patience. Wait for sales.

And while subjective, this game also easily gives hundreds of hours of playtime if that's your thing.

The whole bundle is expensive upfront, surely, but you certainly get your money's worth out of it after 100+ hours.
