Because it takes time to develop DLC? I understand that the upcoming one will be smaller than the others that release that time of the year, but that doesn't mean it should take much less time.

Have patience. It's only two months.

I just speculate that GW wants to keep the momentum focused on Space Marine 2 and then release the upcoming DLC for Gladius and Battlesector later in the year.

GW is a failure at this point. allowing amazon to completely F*** up their live action warhammer 40K show literally shows as much.

Like people who play Space Marine 2 would be super interested in a slow paced, turn based strategy game
Sure there are probably some but bold to assume a strategy game pulls any significant attention from someone playing a fast paced, high action horde shooter, thats like going from Call of Duty to Chess

Warhammer and it's world are unique in it's way compare to the simple lore of Call of Duty.
I make you an example, since Space Marine 2 has been launched there are quite a few new faces showing up at our local store to start collecting armies and get involved in the tabletop game.

This means that SM2 is an excellent showcase to the vast lore for new players, saying that people that love shooters can love turned base games as well.

There's a difference between collecting minis to make armies and buying Gladius because of Space Marine 2, remember that Gladius as a base uses an outdated codex!
