someone figure out how to make loading faster
I don't care if its going into the deep deep settings down under to alter interfaces or whatever.
I had to do the same thing to xcom 2. basically stripped it by changing a few characters in the code and it runs literally 100% faster now.
Anyone that can do that will literally earn the legend title.

Put the game on a SSD. That's it.

its scary im in one mind with Jey, but yep, the gaem profits alot from SSD when you start the game the first time after booting your OS. it seems it preloads some stuff into the memory at the first time, becasue when you dont shut down your OS and boot the game later again its much faster too. you can also kill the bootloader the same way like with 2k games...

This. I just did my five plus years upgrade to a new pc and am running the game on a SSD and a current generation cpu with instant loading when before it was like a two to three minute wait as the game started up. BATTLETECH using the BATTLETECH ADVANCED Mod also used to take five or more minutes to load and now on the new pc its instant with no waiting.

I have the game on installed in my HDD on my PC, the load times are reasonable.

(1m 30s from launcher to main menu, 10s from lobby to game, generating the largest map size possible with 8 players in it)

What hardware specs do you have? :fsad:

you woudend callthis 1m30s reasonable when you seen the difference with ssd. i only use my ssd for loadheavy games with long loadtimes, i guess it tells alot that Gladius is only one of four games on that drive.

Same here. Plenty of space on my regular hard drives for the many other games which do not benefit using a SSD as they load with no long waiting time.

By the same kind of comparison, my 1m30s wait seems completely reasonable compared to the times when I had to wait for 10~15m for my ZX Spectrum 128 to fully read a tape.

If I would find 1m30s unreasonable, I would then choose to install the game in my SSD, but I use that one for other stuff that would take 5m+ to load on an HDD, or games that require constant I/O in the drive due to loading data often.

This is a single-time load, that you only do once when opening the game. You do not get any other long load times while playing.
