Drukhari Raiding
It isn't clear how you raid with the Drukhari or what can be raided. So far it's a sort of traditional build your base then move against your opponents (taking into account how different the Drukhari units are). Even the riding in transports bonus doesn't do much if you jump to gate but then can't unload and attack with your infantry in the same turn to get your bonus. Every gate seems to already have lots of enemy units to bash your transports before they can unload.

Bash, yes; destroy, no.

Getting bashed is half the function of the transport.

The "raid" aspect of the Drukhari is simulated by the infantry's ability to hop back onto the transports the following turn and zoom away out of danger.

They disembark without move cost or penalty, and can benefit further with some techs, like added damage. This combined with their high mobility makes for very effective attack options.

It works well, make sure you research some useful stuff for bonuses. The T9 transport is the best in the game, once you are there just make those and drugged up Incubi and scourges

Also Drukhari can summon their own gates so if you have a frontline with an enemy you can try to sneak a unit behind their lines, put the temp gate up, jump out raiders with wracks a haemunculus and scurges to rush down a city for example or if you flanked before you can quickly recall your troops with a temp portal, transports help here a lot too as they make webway teleportation a lot cheaper. And dont forget to bring an archon on your raid for the sweet influence paycheck...

its still puzzeling that they patchgimped the SM hard back than with the unability to use transported units imidiate after the transport was droped, but after that they made factions that coud use the strategie just fine without getting nerved to infinity, and even get buffs for do so.....
latest point after they inplemented the bulky and super bulky traits the coud have given back SM the same ability.
