Hi folks. What Artillery tank (non Forge World) would be best to add for the AM?

Ingame the Artillery Tank for AM is a Basilisk so there is place for more :)
Maybe the following, that could share the same chassis:

Griffon: Early/Mid-Game Artillery, Range 4 medium fire support.
Medusa: Mid/End-Game Artillery, like a Vindicator but with Range 4.
Mantikor: End-Game Artillery, could be a very powerful one. Even against Air.

What rules are you looking at for the Manticore to make it be an endgame tank?

Wyvern seems interesting. That's an anti-light infantry tank.

This seems intriguing. Normally 1 per game abilities are translated to 10 turn cooldown in game. What type of damage should it do?

If had to make one, it would be the Manticore because of how it looks. Awesome model.

However I'm a bit worried its too much like the Basilisk rule wise.

As such the Deathstrike would be my top choice. However it's not a simple unit to cary over rule wise. This is where I need help and ideas.

Yes, the awesome look of the Manticore would be a great addition to the game.
There can be two missile loadouts so it could be effective against air (Sky Eagle Rockets)

The Deathstrike sounds very interesting, the impact can be AoE (hits units around the target) which carries the wrath of the emperor. For balance, the only active weapon can be a heavy bolter and the main weapon (Missile Launcher) can act like a ability with a long cooldown. Limit of the unit to 1.

Maybe have the Manticore be half the range as the Basilisk, decent artillery piece for more close range support while the Basilisks remain as the city busters they're likely used as whenever someone plays Imperial Guard.
Edit: The Deathstrike if this is the same platform from the UA mod for DoW1, you would probably have to make that a Tier 9 maybe Tier 10 unit since it's not a traditional artillery platform, it's a Davy Crockett along with the suggested limitation of 1 existing at any given point.

This means that the normal attack counts 1 missile, and additional the ability for 4 missiles with cooldown. That sounds nice!
Regarding Traits: add Barrage (Does not require line of sight)

Yeah, I can see that Deathstrike would be tricky to make fun and yet balanced. Probably that's why it never made into an official unit pack. Hope you still can find a way to to make them work in Gladius.
