Anyone know what to use the Voidraven Bomber's voidmine ability on?
Can't seem to find a target susceptible to this thing

Space Marine Devastator Centurions, Tyranid Warriors/Raveners, Orks Meganobz/Flash Gitz.
Basically any heavy infantry.

Void Mine is bad to the point of insult.

"Bombers" in general are worse than their "fighter" variants (see Burna-Bommer, Sun Shark). Razorwings do everything better while Voidravens cost 50% more and offer no real advantages.

Devs never addressed the "bomber" issue (T'au say "hi") so it's up to modding to fix.

Just by reading its stats and traits makes it obvious: Heavy infantry. It is a large blast bomb that has lance (limits enemy armor to 8) and 6 armor penetration (meaning that, assuming you have upgraded the armor penetration of your weapon, the enemy will have either 0 armor or 1 armor at best). Large blast hits 5 additional members with it. It deals 4 damage to each model (8 damage at 6 accuracy). It is a really cool ability, actually. And it is free, so you can combine it with your normal attack to insta-clear a big fat heavy infantry in 1 turn.

As for the other posts regarding fighters and bombers, that is not true. Bombers are good units and have a niche. Modders are just ego-driven and want to make the game as they see fit, it doesn't make them right. Most mods suck to be honest and have poor balance.

In the case of Drukhari, the only "weird" thing about the Fighter vs the Bomber is that the Fighter can actually hit low armored infantry rather well with its poison and blast weapons. On the other hand, the Bomber can actually be equal to the Fighter in fighting air units. Unless the enemy is spamming air units, you are better off making the Voidraven only and skipping the Jetfighter, for this reason.

Thank you for the clarification Templar!

Gonna go find me some heavy infantry to wreck ;)
It is important to note that the "damage" stat is capped at the health of one model in the enemy unit so if they have 5 hp per model It would deal 2.5 damage to each model (5 damage at 6 accuracy).

Are you sure it works this way? That the cap applies before the accuracy? Doesn't make sense to me. The accuracy seems it should apply first, then the end-damage would be capped per attack per model.
Yes it is why the basilisk doesn't just annihilate 3 models when it shoots infantry and instead only ever kills 2 while wounding a 3rd

Though i suppose they could be counting it as 2.5 hits and if so then if the damage cap is applied before or after wouldn't matter.
Edit:No it is before because accuracy over 100% affects units with damage reduction but won't hit more models
Tested it using the debug menu
Before and after giving Saint Celestine the Cannoness accuracy buff against a unit with 2hp and 17% Invulnerable DR

As per the FAQ, yes.
