deathmarks vs warriors
so is it too bold to say that deathmarks are just better necron warriors? more armor, stronger guns, 3 tile range, and a map wide teleport ability??? For slightly more expense you get a better unit that can potentially ambush out of nowhere, or phase retreat en mass if losing. they just seem generally incredible... Not that I'm complaining. I *love* deathmarks, they're one of my favorite units from the lore.

I guess it isn't a straight upgrade: deathmarks lose half their damage after moving (their weapons are Heavy), warriors don't have that problem and will do more if they can get into melee range (their weapons double the attacks up close).
but same hp, better armor, better range. they're also a tier 2 tech and cost more, so I should hope that the investment has a return over your basic infantry that you start with.

Warriors:
- cheaper
- you can upgrade penetration of their weapons
- rapid-fire means 2x attacks when next to the target

Deathmarks:
- more expensive
- need research
- their weapons have heavy attribute so they lose accuracy after moving

They both have their usues in different fields

Try hitting a Predator with a Deathmarks then with a Necron Warrior, then tell me if Deathmarks overshadow Warriors.

What about Immortals? Aren't those the Anti-Vehicle option for Necron Infantry?

In the game, they're equiped with Tesla carbine, with less armor penetration (well I think) than the Gauss blaster used by Immortal too. So... they don't here to destroy armored vehicle.

Immortals have 0 base armor penetration before the upgrade (vs 1 for warrior). They are great against infantry due to many attacks and good armor (8 vs 6 for warrior).

Immortals are DLC, they are only a variation of a unspecialised basic Unit. like the Temepstus for the Guard.
Destroyers are what sits on the same spot like Devastators, Heavy Weapon Groups, Tankbustas and the other Tank hunting Inf.

Tau are the strongest, they have a lot of armor and equipment
