Warhammer 40K: Gladius Lore section

I am a Warhammer Fan and even have some tabletop stuff like the corebook and Astra Militarum Army but I feel more confused than a Ork reading the codex astartes when it comes to Gladius Quest/Story sometimes.

I just dont get some of the Faction Quest-Story. I finished Astra Militarum, Adeptus Mechanicus and Adepta Sororitas. Starting Eldar now.

SPOILER AHEAD:

Astra Militarum: We are fighting a Tech Priest at the end but who is he? Chaos Traitor? The guy from Adeptus Mechanicus campaign? We simply dont know?

Adeptus Mechanicus: Are we the bad guys? We turn into C'tan at the end...I think. Are we the heretics?

Adepta Sororitas: So the Saint just teleported herself away to Guilliman...maybe a little stopover at Cadian and Holy Terra as well? And all the Sister are dying..?

Eldar: What Sword?!


I though it might be nice to have a Gladius Lore section where people who know more about Warhammer 40k or feel confident enough about Gladius Lore to explain the Faction Quest/Story.

PS: Cant wait to play Orks. Really hope they have a simple to understand Quest/Story

I went on hiatus for a year or three ?

I come back and --- uh , what's this Gulliman crap ?

I suppose it is anything , anything , anything , to push the Barney the purple dinosaur - super hero boys even more to the fore than they already are ?

And I suppose a totalitarian theocracy just isn't cool even in fiction , so never mind that an atheist god with psychic and magic powers doesn't really make a whole lot of sense .

Anyway , yeah , my guess is Orks are a simpler lore with fewer headaches , and less danger that it is going to veer off into whatever with the next five minutes fashion trend.

anyone who opposes the righteous judgment of the guard is a heretic by definition

dont have the sisters and should replay the eldar since their stuff is always a little less obvious and hard to dig up out of old memory
