Graphics card recommendation
Gladius runs fine on my system but Battlesector does not. I am fine playing on lower graphics quality settings. I have a Core 5 processor and 16GB RAM . Currently I have the old Intel integrated card. Can someone recommend a good card that doesn't break the bank?Maybe $150 or less?

You may have a better chance getting help if you post this in the Battlesector forum.

The issue is obviously the graphics card. Really, "integrated" basically means no relevant graphics power, and almost no halfway modern game will ever run well on those.

Sadly the GPU market has still not had a major breakthrough for us customers. In the below 500 (i.e. sane) price region you basically have only two sensible options right now, either buy the outdated but decent 1650/1660 for around 200 or spend about 400 for a 3060 (Ti or not depending on wether you want more ram or more processing power) which is the current go-to mid-range card that will carry your system for quite a few years.

Imho the next best upgrade after that would be the high-end AMD cards because they perform similar or better than the 3080/90 range of cards but are a tad less insanely priced, but those are still in the >900 range.

Thanks Stormfox. I've been reading a lot and have come to realize I am looking for a Unicorn. It's actually amazing I've gotten the performance I have from the stock card. Battlesector was actually playable but too choppy to be enjoyable.

(AAA) PC gaming is dead because of the gpu duopoly with artificially inflated pricing. They figured out that if they both sold less cards for 3x-4x times the price, or even more, they would make much more profits, and the cryptocurrency bubble gave them all the excuses they needed. For more than 7 years this has went on. 7 years... This is not an issue of supply. This is an issue of a fixed market, and the authorities are not doing anything to stop it. Sadly, this means gaming has suffered. Only indie gaming matters now.

Let us all take a moment to curse the scalpers who took advantage of the great GPU drought.
Damn scalpers!
