Alternative for when you want to put in a little more work for the dawn of war voicelines:

Apart from the Admech and Sisters of Battle, all the factions are 99% complete and I have it on good authority that Sisters of Battle get added to it soon™ together with the last unit pack.
To be fair, I believe Proxy Studio only has 3 employees and I think this game was made by only about 20 people according to the credits; including things like writing, cinematics, music and what not. They're also working on their own game so their resources are likely stretched.
Still, it would be nice if they could get an official voice pack for the game or at the very least, support the TMV mod in finishing and making it official.
They actually got a shout-out in the patch notes (which no one reads, but still!).
For a more material support, that's pretty difficult.
On the one hand, any content must be approved by GW.
On the other hand, TMV voice actors were paid cheaply because it's a non-profit mod. If it were used to sell more Gladius, they might not quite be happy.
On the last hand (hush), copyright. I have no clue how it's handled. It might be very straightforward and have been dealt within TMV already. Or there would be lots of complexity...
So yeah. Doubtful TMV will ever be vanilla Gladius.
Yes but it is the devs who do the work. It's easy for us to say something like this would be easy to implement, especially seeing modders do it in their own time but something like this, on an official level will take a lot of work for reasons Jey points out and more. Hiring, licensing, schedules, legal, testing, other development commitments. Throwing money at it will certainly cover the financial costs and can be used to bring on more personnel but it will be a lot of work and time either way.
