Feature Request: Fire All Weapons
Hi devs,

While I love the utility of units that have multiple usable abilities, it would be super SUPER handy and a lot less clicking to have a "FIRE ALL GUNS" action.

For example, take Doom Arks. In a scenario where I have moved the unit 2 away from my target, I have to:

r-click once to fire the main gun. This uses action and movement, so the next unit in the list is selected.
l-click (and possibly move around the map) to re-select the Doom Ark.
l-click on the secondary attack
l-click on the desired target.

If there was a "FIRE ALL GUNS" action, say Ctrl-Right click, the above scenario would be:

ctrl-r-click once to fire all guns.

Multiply this by a half dozen (or more) Doom Arks and Monoliths, every turn.

I realize this might not be 100% straightforward to implement because of the huge variety of actions - perhaps you could mark certain actions with a special flag (would need to surface in the UI as a quick blurb "this will activate with the 'fire all weapons' action") and then just fire any secondary actions after the main weapon has fired, if the target still exists.

Pretty please? Think of my poor left mouse button... :D

I agree that the mechanic that auto-selects the next action-available unit can sometimes, infuriatingly, cause you to accidentally expend wastefully the next unit's action when you weren't done with the previous unit quite yet. And also as you said make you have to find and re-select the unit you weren't quite done with yet. The game may be better off without this automation, it's a pretty big issue that needs to be patched.

I think you have a pretty good suggestion as a solution.

Welp, I see the only issue - Baneblade has 2 additional attacks, so your approach calls for 3D-cycling -_-

On the other hand, I fully agree that fire whatever can be fired on assigned to ctrl+RMB would be a good addition.

I think you have a pretty good suggestion as a solution.

You can turn off the auto cycle but still use space bar to manually go through in the same way, it helped me avoid that problem alot

Yeah Toss, I often do just that. But then I'm constantly hammering the space bar and sometimes skip fresh units entirely by accident. :D
