Game randomly freezes for a few seconds then music changes

Every now and then while playing, my game will freeze for around 10 seconds. Immediately afterwards the music changes to a different tune (so halfway through the mechanicus theme it would then freeze and when it unfreezes it would now be playing the chaos theme, for instance).

This seems to occur randomly, so it's not as if it freezes after I perform a specific action. Sometimes I am scrolling, and other times I am clicking on a unit or notification.

If anyone knows why this is happening or has a suggestion to fix whatever is wrong, please let me know. Thanks.

i remember seeing a thread about this behavior long ago in this forum, but i also remeber there was a big patch shortly after that stated this bug was cleared. look if you cna find it with search, think the thread was in the bug section here
