Yeah, I said it! It should not take an entire army just to down one of these things, especially if you're playing as the Astra Militarum!

Should have went vehicles, in case you've missed it, AM infantry needs an entire army to take couple of sluggas.

well what anti air with chaos? just curious seems like i struggle with AA when playing chaos.

There Air Unit itself, its as anoying as the Tyranid one, because same overkill taffness and part of its attack are melee, so enemy air has no profit from jinx.
Obliberators are good at that job too.
