Two points:
GW IP. Titan is serious business for GW. Hardly the Dev can access this
The Power Level of Titan. Even the smallest of it still too strong for Gladius system and unit
This.
Titans are simply too much at this scale.
Nothing in the way of examples the OP provides are even remotely close to the true power scale of actual Titans.
A Gorkanaught is just a light snack in comparison.
Kinda breaks the lore too, since Gladius is a world the Imperium wants to keep, probably best not to deploy planet-destroyers.
Curious as to how much titan production cost would be in game tho
War Hound (smallest titan should at least tier 12) translate to production mean 96 production
Need a special building for it too.
I have try to make a Titancius mod but the lack of model is very sad
so i dont understand your arguments
the emperor class , which ( depending on the quota of the lore) are down to dozens - hundreds ,
and the melta or plasma mainweapon of them is described as : 1 shot could melt half a hive city :)
edit , also found a quote in my old ADM codex , that the plasma weapon could vaporate an entire city with 1 shoot
The Devs has ruled out adding any unit that is significantly larger than Imperial knights.
So what?
This game is based on wh40k, not Epic 40k.
If you want Titans, go play a game that has Titans already.
That makes sense right?
That Armageddon one seems to be a decent facsimile of Final Liberation, but Adeptus Titanicus was pretty bad.
Devs said so.
Basically titans can't be on a single tile. Multi-tile units are too big and won't really fit in Gladius systems.
lol vaporizing an entire city would count as "planet destroying" in my book, or at least the start of the process
When talking about titans my mind tends to go back to the 30k era... Order Sinister and Psi-Titans would solve a lot of problems in the current setting.
1/3rd the size and firepower???
says who? and where? because that is plain false
A warhound Titan is bigger than an Imperial Knight/Wraithknight
over 3 times the point cost too
Considering Hierophant has x5 point cost of Tyrannofex, I find this hard to believe
