Titans still have a chance?
As the title says, is there still a chance of the Devs Adding Titans to the game?
We have knights, wrathlords and gorkanaut , they look so cool, but they make me want Titans in the game even more.

I doubt ít.

Two points:

GW IP. Titan is serious business for GW. Hardly the Dev can access this

The Power Level of Titan. Even the smallest of it still too strong for Gladius system and unit

This.

Titans are simply too much at this scale.

Nothing in the way of examples the OP provides are even remotely close to the true power scale of actual Titans.

A Gorkanaught is just a light snack in comparison.

Yeah titans would be wayyy out of whack on the power scale, then they would have to dig up with other ridiculous units for other factions in hopes of balancing it out.

Kinda breaks the lore too, since Gladius is a world the Imperium wants to keep, probably best not to deploy planet-destroyers.

Curious as to how much titan production cost would be in game tho :wasted:

War Hound (smallest titan should at least tier 12) translate to production mean 96 production
Need a special building for it too.
I have try to make a Titancius mod but the lack of model is very sad

war hound / sentinal titans are 1/3 in size and firepower of a riptide / gorkanaut/ wraithknight / imperial knight

so i dont understand your arguments

to be that technicall prick ;) , they are no planet destroyers , not at all .

the emperor class , which ( depending on the quota of the lore) are down to dozens - hundreds ,

and the melta or plasma mainweapon of them is described as : 1 shot could melt half a hive city :)

edit , also found a quote in my old ADM codex , that the plasma weapon could vaporate an entire city with 1 shoot

Except the Tyranids have their Titans or a version of a Titan with the Tyrannfex doing the same as the Hierophant and the Scythed Hierodule doing the same as the Dominatrix just without the Synapse link.

What is the sentinal titan? The only walker unit I can find with an similar name is the Sentinel combat walker which not even close to being an knight yet alone a titian. The Acastus Pattern Knight is the only Knight that is near the size of a Scout Titan. all other Knights are dwarfed by even the smallest class of Imperial Titans.

The Devs has ruled out adding any unit that is significantly larger than Imperial knights.

So what?

This game is based on wh40k, not Epic 40k.

If you want Titans, go play a game that has Titans already.

That makes sense right?

That Armageddon one seems to be a decent facsimile of Final Liberation, but Adeptus Titanicus was pretty bad.

Can't make an argument so you just resort to spitting bullcrap, I even have a friend who's been playing the TT longer than I've even been touching the universe, and they've even said themselves that Scythed Hierodule is a version of a Titan for the Tyranids because I even ASKED him myself what it was as I was unfamiliar with it at the time.
Jey Apr 13, 2022 @ 11:58am
No.
Devs said so.

Basically titans can't be on a single tile. Multi-tile units are too big and won't really fit in Gladius systems.

lol vaporizing an entire city would count as "planet destroying" in my book, or at least the start of the process :snaggletooth:

When talking about titans my mind tends to go back to the 30k era... Order Sinister and Psi-Titans would solve a lot of problems in the current setting.

Maybe a "boss fight" dlc like Lord Of Skulls but with a renegade titan?

1/3rd the size and firepower???
says who? and where? because that is plain false

A warhound Titan is bigger than an Imperial Knight/Wraithknight
over 3 times the point cost too

Considering Hierophant has x5 point cost of Tyrannofex, I find this hard to believe

Look at how negative feedback about the Lord of Skull. I doubt the boss fight dlc
