i DO remember some mod in the early days of gladius that had new models for npc critters but for some reason getting new models into the game never took off.
i m assuming if it were possibly/easy we d be swimming in new units like Dawn of War 1 did via the modding scene but its not happening for whatever reason.
It's simply that creating the models and animating them require skills.
No one with those skills seem to be interested to work on a mod for Gladius. I know Toffster's Imperial Knights mod was stuck because he couldn't find animators for the units he modelled.

This looks great! Looking forward to more aspect warriors. Could the Autarch animations be used for swooping hawks?
Doesn't the Autarch have a jetpack animation?
