And yeah I forgot about the electrostim boys so there's 4 units you can construct, 2 of which are heroes.
Also I am experimenting with a small map with low landmass. Make the map work for you and give you lots of chokepoints, letting you hold them back while you can build up your force while also being able to get to them hopefully before they can make air units. I will post on how it turns out.
Also Kataphron Destroyers are Canticles units.
Knight Crusader is neither, I thought it was a Canticles unit but I guess not.
Fulgurite Electro-Priests are also not called tech-priests so they'd be out...
So you'd literally only be able to build Tech-Priest Dominus and Tech-Pries Manipulus, the two hero units. Idk how that's even feasible on impossible difficulty.
If the criteria for the achievement is that you're only building Canticles units and not only Tech-Priests then 1. the description of the achievement needs to be changed to reflect that and 2. its a lot more doable as that would give you access to all 4 units that come out of the tech-priest building, Kastelans and the Kataphron Destroyer. Doable but still insanely hard.
What build/strat did you go for when you finally did engage them?
Additionally, reprogramming Kastelans and building cities is fine.
As Adeptus Mechanicus, win a solo game on impossible difficulty by producing units only from Sub-Cloisters
