Midgame I go for Wave Serpents with Fire Dragons inside and Fire Prisms. Keep your squishy Fire Dragons safely in the transport and pop out to melt ♥♥♥♥.
Always make use of their awesome fire then move, try and hide inside a transport to be completely safe.
All the early units need food so make sure you have some. Later units use ore.
I also like to get an influence building early as it is really useful. Save up and get the Avatar of Khaine and buy a bunch of gear for him (+armor, +damage, + armor penetration, life steal) he will be your city killer for the game.
I like to make all the heroes, just need to understand that they are not particularly tanky. Use Doom to delete tough units and cities.
Are the War Walkers or Wraithblades worth it at all?
Oh and what's "Doom"? Is it a hero ability?
As stated, when you get the hang of the Craftworlds fire then move.., you start seeing how great they are. Happy Hunting.
War Walkers are expensive but hit really hard. Wraithblades are a great tough melee infantry that hits like a truck. If their 3 move is too slow for you try and keep them in the faster Wave Serpents.
Guardians problem is they're really squishy. They hit really hard and are cheap. Just have to keep them alive. Try to use a jinking Shining Spear in cover to eat the overwatch then run in your Guardians to kill the target. If you still have some when you get Wave Serpents use them to keep them safe.
'Doom" is a hero ability from the FarSeer.
Also make use of the morale debuff spells as shattering the enemies morale gets you a huge damage buff and debuffs their damage. In general try and use morale to hurt the enemy. If you kill all the weak units nearby a big super unit you can make the super unit have poor damage output and take increased damage. This is the key to winning on the harder difficulties.
Be careful at the start too, as you will be weak and always withdraw weak units to a base to repair and have special characters around to support you.
They are fun and excellent at getting forces around the map, be it for exploring or supporting your army or a friend.
Fire Dragons are your first high-damage anti armor unit and are useful into endgame.
Both the Autarch and the Spiritseer are bomb-sauce. The spiritseer can also heal VEHICLES. The Autarch ultimate drastically improves your economy and stacks with multiple Autarchs.
Wave Serpents are insanely useful on any map larger than Tiny.
You have the ability to expand into a second city exceedingly rapidly; take advantage of this.
Once you get rolling with a fleet of Fire Prisms and infantry to back them up it's usually game over. IF it goes past that, Wraithblades are meh, War Walkers are godly, Wraith Knights are alright and Scorpions are obscene.
Generally there's no Aeldari start that's not food-heavy so depending on your starting location you may need to prioritize the Exquisite Cultivation tech to boost your farms.
