Warhammer 40,000: Gladius Complete Edition won't working

Hello all,
I bought today Warhammer 40,000: Gladius Complete Edition from steam. I installed it but the game does not start. When I press the play button it pop up another window that I have to press again the play button. Pressing that again close the window and I'm back again in the first Window of Gladius and the game cannot launch. No mods have been installed. No antivirus software is installed except the default windows. (Control folder access is off)

I have never faced problem with games on steam and really don't know what to do. My drivers (VGA & windows) are all updated.
VGA is a Gigabyte GTX 1060 (6GB)
Any help would be great !!

Try using the open beta without the launcher (steam game properties and then select beta and launch)

if you are referring in the Steam ad, about the game, in my despair I also press the purchase button in case it was a bug and may work. Until now, the result is the same. Game won't starting.

-Have you checked if your antivirus allows the game. If you don't have any, just windows defender, check in the threats recorded by windows defender.

-Have you tried to launch the game.exe directly (not from Steam launcher, from \Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40000 Gladius - Relics of War\Binaries\Windows-x86_64) as administrator?
Make sure you are in open beta to bypass the Slitherine launcher.


If those two options don't work, your only option is to contact [e-mail] and explain the issue.
You're not the only one having this issue.
If Slitherine support manages to find you a solution, please share it :).

If the game doesn't start (i.e they're trapped in an infinite loop on Slitherine launcher), they won't have gladius.logs (hence why the OP posted the launcher logs).

Yes I tried that. Still when pressing the play the game button, nothing happens and going back to library.
Now the only way is if Slitherine found a solution before I ask for a refund which I don't want.

Also the couple of times I tried to reinstall Gladius, there was another download called steamworks common redistributables that also installed. I don't know what else I must do..
How many days do I have to get a full refund ?

Make sure you try the .exe under .\Warhammer 40000 Gladius - Relics of War\Binaries\Windows-x86_64 and not the launcher in the main folder.
