Eldar heroes are weak (in beginning)
First: I love the game and played most factions. Like for the most others I see strengths and weaks in Eldar.

BUT, are the heroes of the Eldar (first 3, not talking about the avatar) really are weak? It feels like a total waste of ressources and capacuty? Is there something strong in them I am not able to see?

With a couple of exceptions this applies to basically every race though.

Edit: The OP of another post thinks Eldar heroes are very strong.

+3 accuracy at radius 3 is incredibly powerful for the Autarch. Its ultimate allows you to double the resources from outpost, which is pretty amazing too.
It's not a warlord like the Chaos Lord or the Warboss. It's a support hero, who can make opportunistic kills (his disruptive grenade, especially with +3 accuracy, can be the bane of a vehicle, the plasma grenade can slaughter infantry), to further boost his allies.

I haven't tried the Spiritseer. But as far as I know, it's your only healer, so he's probably interesting. I think he can also make Wraithknights even deadlier.

The Farseer Skyrunner is used to kill especially tough units. Whether through the help of its +100% damage skill or through the help of Mind War (it ignores every save and cover and armor and anything. It's (your_morale - enemy_morale)*1.5 HP removed to the enemy).

the first 3 eldar heroes have poor attack strength. but their abilities are some of the best in the game. iffu describes the two above. the spiritseer is a healer and a great buff/debuffer. i love how his abilities can add or subtract armor and morale from friend or foe. his healing is essential for the eldar, imo, although the 2 turn wait makes him weaker than the other healers, iirc (the tervigon for example can heal every turn). i wonder if they made it 1 turn if it would make the race too powerful.

I use the Autarch as a buffer for infantry and an assassin (like the Tyranid Prime). It cannot deal with late, heavy units but it can pack a punch.

When combined with heavy hitting units, the Farseer is extremely good. +100% damage on a target for a turn can guarantee you a kill on your opponent's best unit before it can even act.

I've only used the Autarch and the Skyrunner (in solo play) so far but they seem pretty good. The Autarch seems pretty broken especially since the elite skill seems to stack so each map point just gives you a ridiculous amount of income increase I think mine are x4 right now.

I had two autarchs and a Skyrunner leading a fight vs chaos earlier and the autarchs were just taking turns to do accuracy boosts, and often providing damage boosts and Doom plus their extra attack power along with the artifacts I gave them just let them mince chaos lords together.
