How to get Chaos Spawn/Daemon Prince out of Chaos Cultists...

Hey guys, I've been playing chaos recently and tried to get those two hidden achievements where you have to transform regular chaos cultists into chaos spawn and a daemon prince. All i found on the internet was a table which showed the probability of it (and all the boons of chaos) to happen, there it said that it's got a chance of 0,8% to happen when i kill a unit, yet it has never happened with any unit in my games. I even tried to save and reload and grind my way to it by killing the same imperial soldiers over and over again (those poor bast*rds) with my cultists, nothing happened. Anybody here got a hint for me how to make it happen? If there is now way to make it happen more often, in my opinion the probability is too low (in the tabletop game the chance is about 2,7%)...

It's just luck, keep going. I think I needed ~50 kills to trigger it?

Yeah i fear you're right, the problem is that the cultists are quite useless in the late game, so the only chance i have to transform them is early on... I guess it will be another chaos playthrough then tonight.

Pure RNG.

Came back after a long break, and started only my second ever Chaos game.

I had a Cultist kill a kroot hound pack and turn into a Daemon Prince on turn 24.

Certainly way before killing 50 enemies - this was the 2nd or 3rd unit I killed.

Sometimes I'd rather be lucky than good :)

Absolutely nothing you can do about it. I once had a turn 4 Daemon Prince but now nothing has turned into spawn/prince for many months.

Just popped another prince - turn 140 odd! Nice.

Also had 1 X spawn conversion - unfortunately this was on a unit of obliterators that was holding a key chokepoint but cHaOs will be ChAoS...
