Hah! I haven't played TT since 4th edition (I think), when it was actually 2 weapons (so you rolled double the wound die). Good to know they changed it (I did feel dual linked weaponry were a bit too good back then).

Even with 7th edition rules though, re-rolling practically guarantees a hit, as opposed to the current scenario where you get a flat rate bonus of "+15% or so hit chance".
For example... 80% to hit becomes more like 96% (+16%), but 60% would turn into a 84% (+24%)
