Hunter killer missiles on defeated vehicles? Really?
Man I love this game, but there is something seriously wrong when space marines are far more deadly after you beat them than when they are still in the game.

They build towers everywhere which is fine of course, but after you beat them they automatically get level 8 research fortress of redemption missile silos. One second they are regular towers, the next second they are launching missile across the map thanks to tech that nobody is even close to yet.

And even worse than that, the tanks that they had on the other side of the map start rolling in shooting research level 10 hunter killer missiles. That is just so unfair that I pray its a bug.

Please make it where neutral units keep the same tech level as the faction you defeated. Because especially on the huge maps with very slow research speeds and very high wildlife, you can run into some situations that are almost impossible to deal with. Since they are neutral now, I guess they are sharing line of site with every other neutral creature. So when you have tanks sharing line of site with catachan devils, on the other side of a massive swarm of catachan devils that you aren't ready to take on, you pretty much have to just sit there and keep getting blasted.

This is indeed an issue. Neutrals gain automatic upgrades through time to make them match player progression better -- especially for quests. It should get fixed.

Well I see what you mean about the quests now. I made the mistake of building my Librarian super early in my new game as space marines and the enemy camp spawned with the walkers having max tier hunter killer missiles. And combined with their tendency to run into the middle of the worst neutrals there was literally nothing I could do about eating their missiles every time they got a new one. I have to remember to turn off quests when I play the SM until the issue gets addressed (hopefully).

Yep chapter 4 of ork quest spawned huge imperial army everything had hunter killers as soon as any neutral got a sight range they all fired its crazy.
Yeah it is crazy for sure. Until the issue gets corrected I'm just going to turn quests off unfortunately.

For quests, it's intended that units come with more upgrades the longer the game goes. A Scout Sentinel at turn 150 will have more upgrades than at 50. Though it could be that the upgrades are given a bit too fast at the moment.
