Meganobz feel like they don't fit in. I'm guessing they have such high armor in the tabletop as well? They have the same armor as SM terminators and more armor than machines literally made out of metal.
When I played Orks I didn't really see the use of Killa Kans. I guess they're only useful against lightly armored infantry, but they aren't really any better than Boyz with Stikkbombs. Once you're 2 research tiers later, you get Meganobz and they are better in almost every way anyway.
Meganobs are very cool and orky though and amazingly effective when boosted boy Meks and Docs.
So the issue with Kans is that they are weak to begin with and they dont benefit from any of the tech or hero buffs that can make them better.
Recipe: Fill Battlewargons (or Gorkonaughts) with fully buffed troops and da Boss. Next turn use Weirdboy to Da Jump Battlewagon next to an enemy city. The wagons can't do anything but da boys inside can! Watch as your Boss and his boyz take down a city in one turn. Waaaaagh!
