Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War

Use case for the TX4 Piranha
Has anyone found a role for the TX4 Piranha yet? The damage is just so low it can't scratch any of the armored targets you would find in the early game. I would think it would take a similar role to tomb blades, but with the low damage, they seem more like a scout without scout abilities.

Maybe against structures? But it's not really even meant to be a siege vehicle so iunno.

So far, i tried them in my very first game, produced a couple of them.

Same. Better save the ore to build more hammerheads instead.

They also get destroyed pretty easily. Don't think I'll be building any in the future. On the upside they are cheap.

The transport is not bad, better than the Rhino anyway. I really like the Hammerhead

Kinda upsets me still that SM don't have an early transport. Just 2 late game ones that are super heavies. Same for AM need chimera already.

I guess some good things are that they have a 5CD (instead of 10 CD) on gun drones and also 2 seeker missles and are fairly cheap for that. Guess thats a plus. I still need to try them out more.

The Piranha's fusion blaster just doesn't do enough damage for how fragile it is. This thing should be the perfect early game counter to Kastelan Robots, but it hardly puts a scratch in them, even at point blank range.

Either the gun needs a damage buff, or the Piranha needs some secondary firepower (i.e. some pulse rifle shots to represent the drones the tabletop vehicle actually has).

They most definitely should not be able to counter kastelan robots! No other faction's first vehicle can counter them, why should the Tau's

What do you see their current use as? Every other faction's first vehicle has a use. If its in game just to be there, that is pretty pointless no? Do you think that the rhino shouldn't be a transport, because no one else gets a t1 transport?

The game is asymmetrical, so its perfectly reasonable that some faction could have a light anti-vehicle, vehicle as a t1.

Yeah was gonna say none of the factions are made with the mindset of playing alike so why would their vehicles?
