Report a translation problem
The void shield is incredibly powerful, and make games against AM very difficult. If you remove the only small drawback (small because you just have to have a decent frontline and not build the void shield without being careful), it will become even worse.
I disagree for the Librarian because it is a visible dome.
The void shield is not and it is very strange that it cannot be controlled. Luckily it can be modded quite easily (so it can even be done without skilled crew -> not lore friendly but well not being too strict sometimes is not a bad thing). Just add:
If allies need to be protected too something like this should probably suffice:

Originally the void shield could be switched on or off. But this is less micro management.
