Void shield generator Mutual benefit Change
I think the shield generator should not benefit enemy units same for Space Marines Librarian spell . anyone else think the same?

No.
The void shield is incredibly powerful, and make games against AM very difficult. If you remove the only small drawback (small because you just have to have a decent frontline and not build the void shield without being careful), it will become even worse.

I agree with the OP. Gladius is generally good at sticking to the lore, and the lore from Adeptus Titanicus is that void shields can be tweaked by a skilled crew. You could drop part of the shields if friendlies needed you to.

Hmm, I must be somewhere between then.

I disagree for the Librarian because it is a visible dome.

The void shield is not and it is very strange that it cannot be controlled. Luckily it can be modded quite easily (so it can even be done without skilled crew -> not lore friendly but well not being too strict sometimes is not a bad thing). Just add:
<conditions> <player> <faction name="AstraMilitarum"/> </player> </conditions>
to the voidshield trait.
If allies need to be protected too something like this should probably suffice:
<unit>
<allied/>
</unit>

Originally the void shield could be switched on or off. But this is less micro management.
