i mass Termis and they are my main army backbone, they can kill all very fast exept flyers.
The dreadnought is a niche unit for mobile armor piercing purpose mid games if you are on the offensive (The only other thing SM has is the Devastators, which BTW are more defensive orientated and are like papers, or the grenades, which are 1 time used with long cooldown).
TBH though, against AI, u dont need the dreadnoughts, like ever, but against Human players, you'll appreciate this unit.
I feel some units could only be balanced if in limited number, like techs that unlock more 'availability'. Say when you discover terms, you can have only 2, and then you have a repeatable tech adding +2 each time.
When was the last time you see a human player walk their machines into your devastator ?
Just saying.
So you move and park them for 1 turn in the forest correct ?
While with the Dreathnought, thats a 2 turns worth of damage.
