Is it possible to capture an Imperial Bastion with SM?
Hi all.
I have encountered a hostile Imperial Bastion.
Is it possible to capture it, and if so what troops and strategy is best?

No, you can't capture a Bastion. You can however destroy it. Devastators are probably the most efficient at doing that due to high damage and high AP. Then maybe vindicators or tactical squads with melta bombs.

They are one of the many neutral units on Gladius. Probably deserted imperial guardsmen who barricaded themselves in a bastion and blindly shoot anyone approaching.

Or a bunch of poor dudes brainwashed by the Enslavers. Something along those lines.

You can build them with Techpriest Enginseer from the Astra Militarum with the corresponding technology (a tier 5, I believe?).
However they are ALSO a wildlife building.
