Madness Project Nexus Ratings and Tips
I Love playing through the various origins and messing around with the various abilities and builds they can offer, so here is a list of my opinions and tips for the various origins of Madness: Project Nexus Arena Mode:
Noob:
- Not much to say here, this one is a perfectly normal character with no strengths or weaknesses whatsoever
- You can do whatever build you want with it or can choose to aim for the balance allocation to be prepared for any scenario or level
Agent:
- A long ranged fighter that specializes in pistols
- Very fun to play with since I find it satisfying to completely ignore soldat tac-bars in the sweet spot
- I personally recommend focusing on revolvers with this origin since they can one shot most low-mid tier enemies with all power focused modifications
Experiment:
- An acrobatic focused origin with very high unarmed damage and a weakness to fire
- I recomend increasing acrobatics as much as possible to increase H2H attack speed to take advantage of increased unarmed damage
- If you want to take it further, then always make sure to buy the strongest glove type accessories when available and get the laborers cap, headband, Ghi, or monks robe since they directly increase H2H speed
Mercenary:
- A simple melee fighter who can hoard money more easily and bribe enemies to make them join you
- Recommended to focus on lethality and critical in order to ensure good damage and dizzy chance for briberies
- Advise to use small melee weapons like the Nexus Blades in order to use attack speed advantage
Patient:
- Unarmed focused with Imaginary friend and dizzy resistance
- Not much advice to give since I personally find this origin to be boring
Disquieted:
- Melee maniac origin (my 2nd favorite)
- 20% damage bonus when using slash type weapons (basically the madness combat knockoff slasher)
- MAXIMIZE lethality to guarantee max damage
- Recomended to use axe weapons since they benefit from slash damage bonus and have additional piercing
Offering:
- Acrobatic focused walking corpse (and definitely NOT a zed)
- Thrown weapons can pierce through enemies
- Recomended to split lethality and senses and use bomarange type weapons to take most advantage of origin skills
Creber:
- A literal one man army
- Recomend to focus on getting as much Armour and strive as much as possible
- Buy regen enhancer from van once available to greatly increase your own and clones survivability
Massive:
- Exactly what the Name suggests
- Focus on Maxing Armour and force
- Recomended to have automatic guns as backup weapons when necessary
Tinkerer:
- Gun Maniac and modification master (personal favorite)
- Can create game breaking guns once the modifier station is unlocked
Recomended to get guns with high ammo capacity and then replace them with bullets with lower capacity but higher damage and piercing to get lots of bullets with massive damage that could last multiple waves
- Focus on Getting as much senses and extra magazines as possible
Magiturge:
- Basically Noob but with magic and terrible Armour scaling
- Weak in early stage but has unlimited ammo and wands get stronger with modifiers as you progress
- try to get armour w/ low encumberance and good protection to compensate low health
