Co-op for Arena/Online Co-op
I'm guessing since the campaign has included co-op, that the arena will recieve the same favor. Just hoping sooner rather then later and interested how it will be done. And hope that an online potentiality becomes a thing, though if it remains couch co-op, steam will still provide a potential work around with it's systems.

Arena does have co-op play, and we're looking to stick to couch co-op for now with Remote Play supplementing for online.

Is there any special way to access it, cause unlike campaign, it didn't start when I had my gamepad in.

Arena co-op currently isn't implemented properly, but will still function. As of right now you need a squadmate who can then be controlled by your second input device

Alrighty, and how do you start controlling from that second input device?
Same question for story mode, any way to press a button and start taking control, had some issues when trying this recently with someone else, requiring us to restart the PC.

As of right now if you just have a controller plugged in you'll be automatically put into co-op, I believe.

Welp, found the trick, you have to have a companion in your party, log out, then log back in with a controller plugged in for them to get control... wish it were more drop in with a button press and drop out in the menu, since it would fit and works, but I can work around it.

i wish that they would've added an option to turn co-op OFF. just because i have my controller plugged in does NOT mean i have a friend to play with OR that i wanted to play with anyone.

Again, why we should require a button press to jump in and menu to drop out. So people who JUST SO HAPPEN to have a controller plugged in, doesn't automatically have another mate in.

I like the *concept* of Remote Play, but the ongoing issue with control conflicts between the Host and any Client makes it remain a less-than solution (i.e. two players cannot both use keyboard & mouse). Wishlisted this because it looks peculiar and well-made, and my cohort and I are big Streets Of Rage 4 fans.

I have the same issue as well, even when I plug in multiple controllers.

We need to find more people. Spread awareness or something, cause this is the first time I've ever heard of another person with this problem and I've spent a few hours now searching the internet trying to fix this. I'll start a topic in the steam discussion now. See if I can't find more comrads who can't play co-op with their comrad!
