Big Gay Als Cat bug

Anyone else encounter a bug when picking up big gay als cats and it not registering? Ive collected all 6 but Big Gay Al says I still need to get Blossom. I looked online and that is the one on top of SoDoSoPa. I got this cat but for some reason it didnt register.

This bug happened to me before with an item. The shoes that are hanging between Tweeks coffee and the movie theater, I knocked them down and they wont let me collect.

Does anyone know how to get a object to become collectable again or anything of the sort to fix this? Im not too worried about the shoe. but I want to come as close as possible to 100%ing this game and with the Big Gay Al mission being bugged, that is one follower and two costume sets im missing out on.

I think you may have to collect them in the order BGA tells you. Then again that may not work, I can't get them all to register either.

Are you sure those are collectable? I think they're only there as an environmental hazard to be dropped on a sixth grader's head.

I'm having this problem too. I have picked up all of Al's cats but he still says the one in SoDaSoPa is missing.

There are cats in the woods on both ends of South Park.

Basically, the quest seems to work like this: BGA tells you where a cat is. You rescue that cat. He tells you where another cat is. But if you rescue a cat out of order, he will not tell you anything. So it goes like this:

- Get cat 1, BGA says "go get cat 2"
- Get cat 3, BGA says NOTHING
- Get cat 2, BGA says "go get cat 3"

You already got cat 3, so he doesn't tell you where cat 4 is. You're now on your own for the other three cats.

Sounds like you missed the cat near canada

It happened to me as well, if you check your inventory and you've got 6 cats then you've got all of them.
I kept walking around town and did some other stuff then eventually came back to his house and tried to talk to him again and then he finally worked.

I always thaught that you were supposed hit the shoes down to fall on the enemy’s to get an advantage boost.

I had an issue where I was quite sure I grabbed all of them, but it required that I go back to each location and try to reverse time. Eventually, the branch at Bebe's house was restored complete with the cat, so I was able to get the last one. The reason this is troubling is because the cats reset every time you refresh the zone...so...it was definitely glitched. Just fixable by reversing time.

problem me too. He ask last cat from Church, but I give him all cats.

order is not important but it will mess up the clues he sends you on coonstagram. The shoes are indeed a hazard.

For me it was the one near the Church that was glitched. I had to reverse time and the broken branch came back with the cat on it!

I have no idea how to pick a cat up. I saw run but it runs to a bush!!

I though it was a glitch but in reality I had shot down Mr Kirby (Bebe's house) in the beginning of the game when I didn't have any Time Farts. Therefore it just looked like I had already collected Mr. Kirby. Just used Reverse Time and the cat appeared back.

Important thing - for reverse time to work you first have to use "Inspection mode" on the branch. There are three cats who sit on branches. Bogie on the way to Canada, Bono at fast travel location next to the church and Kirby in front of Babe's house (next to two girls and a snowman).

i wanna give a heads up the one near babe's house was buggy, i visited there several times and reversed time there and got nothing until big gal al told me to

It's not actually a bug, it's just not intuitive.

It appears to be an intended feature that if you trigger the cat branches before being asked to get that cat, the cat will not rewind in time until BGA tells you to get that specific cat. It happens with all three cats on branches (Bebe's House, Left of the Church, and Canadian Border)

I'm going to guess this is most likely a patched feature to fix a legitimate bug from release relating to the cats, but who knows. It does seem like shoddy programming.
