Some of the game footage I saw showed the statue coming alive and attacking the player. I'm not sure if this will be in the final release though. As the gameplay footage from the original demo never showed it.
What is kinda cool is that the Red Goddess and White Haired Succubus seem to have the same voice actress.
I didn't know that, heard that voice actress was somebody famous even I knew but forgot who it was by now :B
It would be wild if they were sisters or the white haired Sucubuds is the Red Goddesse's daughter.
Considering the lewd comments the white haired Succubus makes towards the Red Goddess, I really hope they aren't related 😣
Is he the big forest creature? Because I'm thinking he's the chained demon from the demo. Right?
Multiple people have said the Red Goddess is inspired by "Babylon the Great"... Also goes by another name, but steam probably doesn't like the word. I can see it, but the story probably doesn't connect them much.
I'm pretty sure the one chained at the bottom of the Demo is a Chort, given what his face looks like. The Forest Demon seems much larger. I believe it to be the one behind the Red Goddess.
I did forget a demon. In the floating forest gameplay footage, when the character touches the face carved into the wall where they receive the power to find the correct path, there is a succubus looking demon with bat wings. All of the Succubi thus far seem to have had their wings torn out, which makes me wonder if it is a different type of succubus or.
I also forgot the worm like snake creatures.
Onto "Babylon the Great". I definitely do think the Red Goddess is inspired by her. Although she was more of a symbolic representation of the lure of false religions, i could see her be reimagined as the current Queen of Hell. Perhaps her ties with revelations suggest that she's going to give birth to the Anti-Christ. Maybe your character will be the Anti-Christ. Who knows. However, i think it would be very interesting if they stayed away from the obvious Satan/Lucifer thing. I'd much prefer them have us explore a Hell that is an amalgamation of Hells from different religions. The Red Goddess was one of the original beings that created Hell. It also looks as if the wings were torn from her back. Maybe she's one of the original fallen? Who knows. All I know if that if she is Babylon the Great, it would be so cool to see her riding atop the beast of seven heads.

Maybe something like that was removed by the censors. Or perhaps what the Succubi from actual, more perverse folktales, lore made people do. To summarize, oral acts on purposely unkempt places...as someone who encountered something drastically toned down yet similar once, the idea makes me sick to my stomach. There was also the idea that Succubi and Incubi are one and the same. The collect sperm from men, tranform into Incubi and impregnate Women who give birth to deformed creatures...
