Farming how ?
Can someone please explain me the Farming System because i heard you can mess it up aswell and well i am in need of Frostwood. Building these things, access to Water and Fertilizer, plant the Seed, what now ?

Edit: Sprinklers are dumm, this thing needs 24 Potions to fill up and by the looks of it this only lasts for 1-2 Hours, thats ridiculous but i dont know when and how much Fertilizer Plants need.

Fertilizer is only needed while the plant is growing (growth times are 1 hour for common plants, 4 hours for farmed only plants. 1 hobart's growth solution (HGS) should provide enough fertilizer for 1 plot to grow fully, so if you surround your sprinkler with 8 plots, try using 8 HGS in your sprinkler at a time). Once it has reached full growth, only water is needed to keep the plant from drying up (note they will decay in 48 hours regardless). The fertilizer from the sprinkler is transferred into the surrounding plots, so it might look like it's being used fast, but in reality it is just distributing the fertilizer to the plots around it. You can view the water and fertilizer amounts for each plot by hovering over the plot with your reticle. That been said, the game is still under development so we might make futher changes to this system still. Thank you for the feedback :)

Just note, sprinklers dont have an automatic shutoff valve when plots have full water and fertilizer, so what that means is, you can waste water and fertilizer if you aren't paying attention. As Deanna said, 1 hobart's solution = 2700 fertilizer which is enough to fill 1 plot but if you have more than 1, it distributes it as evenly as possible to all surrounding plots, up to 8 if you created the perfect square farm with the sprinkler in the middle. At which point, you would need 8 hobart's solution to fertilize your entire farm. As for the water, it will constantly be running until the sprinkler runs out of power. Dont worry though, as Deanna said, plants only need fertilizer and water until they are fully grown, at which point, they no longer use water or fertilizer so the plots won't drain either of those. You'll just end up losing water because the sprinkler doesn't stop watering.

It's been noted, but I think the original design was for the sprinkler to remain on. Sometimes theres a reason to the madness, possibly as another way to deplete a build up of resources, like the new spell system.

Which also makes Hobarts completly useless imo because youre just wasting farm time and resources in compared to doing manual mulch -_- ive posted and several people have posted requesting an on/off button on the sprinklers but im pretty sure thats fairly low on the priority totem pole.

The only Information i really needed was how Plots/growing and all that works in the first Place because of the bad Wiki and over lack of Informations.

I figured it all out now and Hobarts is totally fine, it just needs good preparation, timing and the experience after all my tries to find the best usage for Hobarts. I have 16 Plots and 2 Sprinklers atm and i managed it to not waste any Fertilizer anymore aswell as that all Plots are fully filled with Fertilizer after i harvested them all.

I still say it that the Sprinkler should have an On/Off Button to control it easier and not wasting Power of course. That would really help so much even for growing Plants, it would allow me to regulate the Sprinkler for how much Fertilizer it releases and completely avoiding and loss of Fertilizers.

Btw: Hobarts Elixir is easy as **** to make, Rune Crystals, Mushrooms and Feary Dust. Really thats like 30 Minutes for 20+ Elixirs, i have so many of them already.

You can make 20 elixers to around the 300 mulch i can make >_> just saying hobarts its expensive in comparison to mulch for time farming.

I'm trying to grow a bunch of snapdragon right now. Seems like with the timing involved this game just became a weekend only game for me.

There's not enough time in the night to wait for the full growth period, and if I wait until the next day after work when I can check it again, everything is already dead.

That's with 1 sprinkler 5 plots, and two mana generators linked to the sprinkler (and nothing else).
DaddyAF Sep 6, 2018 @ 10:13pm
You legit only need 1 mana generator for 1 sprinkler, in my 160 plot farm with 15 sprinklers im only using 4 mana generators. And i believe the snapdragons only take 4 hours to fully mature after planted as long as you dont run out of fertilizer and water during that 4hr time frame.
Dhuran Sep 7, 2018 @ 11:31am
Hmm. I wonder why everything was drained an dead the next day. Water, fertilizer and Mana we're all full when I checked the night before.
