need help Reitrieving character or, structure.

So,I had this huge castle under my ownership.But recently I deleted the character by which I built it, and my old charachter's throne is still inside it.I can't access my castle, with my new character.Is there anyways I can get my old character back or retrieve my castle?

If you are the host, you can activate admin commands. Just login to get admin access (the command is /admin_login [password] and the default password is citadel123). Just type that into the chat and hit enter and you will be logged in as an admin. Then activate the cheat /masterbuilder which will allow you to destroy part of that castle wall, go inside, delete the old throne if it's still there, and place a new one.

Hi Sir, I am so terribly sorry to bother you but i also deleted my character as i had extremely low hp etc at level 60 and can get killed in one hit from levels so much lower than i am as i used vanilla settings. I play sp and there is no login feature for me so all i do is click custom game and continue and always have it set to 1 player and i have tried to do what you have explained and it does not work for me and i don't want to lose what i have built as i love it and the game(actually own all your games).
I am extremely old and senile and comp illiterate so i don't know if i am making a silly mistake which i wouldn't put that past me at all, but please any help would be most gratefully appreciated.

Next time just make an Amnesia Potion and put more character points into HP. ;)

Thank you for your reply but i coulnt do that as i never had enough points as they were so low as it was. Do you know anyway i can retrieve my buildings as the Dev etc has not replied or maybe not seen this, and i don't even know if Farmad2000 even got back his/her building back either as there are no comments after the Dev replied to them.

If he got the commands to work he probably got it back, and always unlock the Amnesia as soon as you can, since it's the key to redistribute the points and craft the things you need.

If you've tried Deannas solution (you press Enter to open the chat; and unless you've entered your own password, it should look like /admin_login citadel123) and it hasn't worked (make sure you do a / and not a \ ) it seems the only way is through ingame mechanics.

For the house, if you can't use the siege potions or unstable gems to damage the building the only thing left I'd guess is to wait for decay to claim the throne (16 days as standard, more if you have well fueled Reformation Stones) otherwise... Well... You might attempt to drain shields by baiting NPCs to attack you while you're inside it and drain energy from the Reformation Stones and lower waiting time that way, but I'm not sure that'll work if you don't own the building anymore.
And as of a new update you can't actually destroy a throne with siege potions, so if you can break your way in, you need to blow away any building blocks or structures in a 4x4 wall/floor tile radius around the throne and then place your new one outside the the protected area around your old throne. (The game will say "Too close to other house".)

I'm afraid that's all I can think of to solve your problem, best of luck to you. :)

You kind Sir are amazing, I was wrinting exactly how the Dev typed it with no spaces between login and citadel so i typed it as you put it and it worked! i then am too low a level to craft siege so i googled cheats to craft that and noticed the master builder was different on this site and tada it worked like a charm so i managed to get in and delete my throne and put down a new one and now i have all my buildings back!!!!
I am so increbibly grateful to you for your time, patience and help because i was at a loss and could not have done this without your help.
You are a wee lifesaver and made this old fogey ecstatic.
