Bad FPS in Viking Conquest
I saw a reply from the dev to increase fps by modifying the rgl_config.txt, but to me the instructions are not really clear.

Do I copy what the dev posted (minus their comments) and paste into the rgl_config.txt file?
Because I don't see any existing "texture detail" or "render buffer size" text.

And since I'm modifying the rgl_config.txt from the main Warband folder, won't it affect my Native, Floris and PoP settings as well?
(I'm assuming those mods rely on the settings in this rgl thing as well, I might be wrong).

Open your rgl_config.txt (you can find this in your documents\warband folder)

texture_detail = 70
render_buffer_size = 15
max_framerate = 120
use_pixel_shaders = 0
fake_reflections = 1

use_ondemand_textures = 1 #if crash move to 0 depend on your pc
use_ondemand_textures_mt = 1 #if crash move to 0 depend on your PC

force_single_threading = 0 #if your pc is old use 1
debug_mode = 0

force_vsync = 1
postfx_dof = 0
postfx_hdr = 0 #common problem, no compatible with vsync active.

use_instancing = 1
number_of_ragdolls = 4
number_of_corpses = 4
blood_stains = 0

Generally, this is a default reply that we use to fix crashes problems. If you are not getting crashes, but you are getting drop FPS in your battles, you could need to reduce numbers of troops in the battlefield. Other possibles changes in rgl txt for FPS are:

use_pixel_shaders = 0
fake_reflections = 1
use_instancing = 1
number_of_ragdolls = 4
number_of_corpses = 4
blood_stains = 0

But you will lose quality. You can try to change step to step in your config part of your game and see if FPS rises.
