Well, I control all of Frisia + captured all south Denmark up to Ribe. I have 4 vassals, combined might of over 1500+ men. I can’t say I am that weak, besides, they’ve never been able to actually beat me in battle or capture any settlement.
As to relations - I managed to get peace with Osraige and Brycheniog (Some Welsh petty kingdom), who were indeed much weaker, and Danmark, which I almost conquered whole. All of those had negative opinion of me.
What is “expanded diplomacy system”? I don’t think I’ve seen any special options. Neither did I see an option to send gift. Should my Chancellor have special skills? Right now I have Brunhild as a chancellor.
