After some research on this forum and others, I've come to report the so-called "sudden massive debt" bug.
For the basic, I am running VC on Mac OSX with the latest version of the game.
Now for the bug, it seems to appear a couple of weeks after conquering a fort.
On pay-day, the weekly budget get disturbed by either a abnormal huge revenues (steaming from one of one's possession) or a tremendous large expenses (encompassing in the sub-categorie "Other expenses").
To correct the massive new revenues I just modified my export profile. But as for the debt, it is almost impossible to fix it as the debt is approximately 7,66*10^14 pennings.
From my researches I know that several other persons have encountered this problem. And for the time being, it is clearly impossible to carry on playing with that amount of debt (due to roop's moral and financial issues among other things).
Here is my "rgl_config.txt" files : {LINK REMOVED}http://www.mediafire.com/view/5cw5w4jrv541vvz/rgl_config.txt
Unfortunately I didn't find the "rgl_log.txt" files.
Thanks in advance for your time and answer.
Thanks for taking you time to report the issue and suggest a "solution". Now, one by one:
We are aware of that and it will be fixed in the next version, RE. In case this issue remain during this version, please report it again.
The file "rgl_log.txt" is located in the root folder of M&B. This mean, where you have install the game. If its a steam version it should be in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\mountblade warband" and it is overwritten every time you open the game, so it's only useful if you post it just after running VC.
I hope you enjoy the game and hopefully your experience with the next version deserve a good review :D
My subsequent questions are of course when will the new version will emerge and will it also correct underway save.
I have chosen the auto-saving feature so I don't have a save before the bug.
And while we are at it, the game collapse once every hour/hour and half. So the auto-saving feature was necessary not to lose all my achievements on my save. Next time the bug appear I'll report it more precisely.
Good luck for the next version and the review of the current.
You can access to a previous savegame with the "last_savegame_backup.sav" located in your documents "Mount&Blade Savegames/Viking Conquest".
I'm afraid the collapse is a common issue through the Linux/Mac users. This also should be fixed in the following version.
:D
Again to report what appears to be a bug.
When one stays or strolls close from a harbour-city (e.g. Ribe) one gets attack apparently from nowhere by enemies who arrive at the port.
It seems that there is a "perimeter" in the field around the harbour where when one is the enemy can "jump" on his target. Hence the feeling to get attacked "from nowhere".
