Is Napoleon Worth It?
I love playing Warband, and have had quite a few hours playing With Fire and Sword. Now, Napoleon looks pretty fun, but I was wondering how many people actually play it (I believe it's been said that Napoleon has no singleplayer, which I love to play as much as multiplayer); if anyone could provide me some information about the game and whether it's worth it, it would be most appreciated :D

It has no single player but you can setup custom matches but the main part is multiplayer. It is a very popular DLC and there's lots of players in a few servers.(I play in the Minisiege server) and its full quite a lot 80+ and upwards. Check a few videos on youtube to see what its like. You can download(for free) the L'aigle mod if you want single player with muskets.

Hey its a cool dlc but if you dont plan to play multiplayer dont buy it the singleplayer mod is ♥♥♥♥ and very weird. Multi player has more than 100 people playing and its fun

Last I played, servers with 120+ players were up regularly. Its a lot of fun. The units speak their respective languages, there's a degree of respect for the history of this series of conflicts, a decent array of units to choose from; infantry, cavalry and artillery as well as officers and musicians and standard bearers.

Yesterday I was playing Napoleon on the player vs bot server, we were around 100 players, it was quite fun.

I like the "Commander Battles".
You start with the Commander of a Squad (usually up to 22-24 Bots) who are under your command against real other Commanders and their Bot regiment.
It is fun to get some good old fashioned linebattles and Bayonett Rushes in this Gamemode, while the Bots in your regiment listen to your orders

Now, don't get me wrong, guys, while I love singleplayer, multiplayer is just as great. Would you all say it's worth it? I've heard pretty good things so far :P

Not worth it if you are in into multiplayer

if you like multiplayer then its definately worth it, even more so if you are interested in joining a regiment which makes the game 10x more fun than it already is. I am currently in a regiment known as the RKR and it was one of the best decisions ive made playing this game. Before i got into napoleonic wars i was just playing singeplayer but once i joined the RKR i never looked back. Our regiment is a great bunch of people who takes this game serious to an extent. We do also have promotional ceremomnies which are all conducted in full german. We roleplay as the Brandeburgische. If you are interested in joining or even trying it out to get a taste on what a regiments event is like drop me a friend request and message and i can sort it all out with you :)
