Do you see them or don't you?
Are they nobles left over from Vaegirs Kingdom, looters, bandits?
Are you asking if these enemy are linked to not getting the pop-up window for the achievement?
All nobles were gone and an invisible ennemy was spotting by Dhirim so it's bugged ...
As a female character, I got the Manifest Destiny achievement and went on to get the Empress achievement in the same game. I believe that you can only get the Golden Throne achievement as a male character but why would one not be able to do the Manifest Destiny along the way like the famale character can? TalesWorld may have set it up that way, I don't know?.
Did you use the cheat 'Ctrl+T' to remove the game of 'Fog of War' to verify that those enemies were actually not nobles, villages and fiefs only detect enemy kings/nobles. Of all the hours I've played this game, I've not seen this 'bug' before but TalesWorld is the 'Greatest' bug producer imo. It's too late now but I'm just curious if you tried this cheat?
When the game first came out, you could see the solo riding nobles after they were defeated with no fog of war. Then TalesWorld changed game play so you no longer could see these defeated nobles unless they were near a town, castle or village and you would receive a message saying so. As soon as you got this message you had to immediately enable the cheat to spot them otherwise if you just rode to the area they would be gone because all the looters, raiders, and nobles have a much greater fielded of view then our characters. In the game I'm playing now, I see that they (TalesWorld) have gone back to the old way of seeing defeated nobles at all times w/ fog of turned off.
The funny thing is : When I have unlock Manifest Destiny, Empress unlock too ...
(You can see it on my achievements list of MB Warband)
So maybe you're right and female character can't have Golden Throne but on my mind I think it's just Manifest Destiny and Golden Throne the problem because the game don't accept that you unifed Calradia a second time on your own after unified with a faction ! :)
Oh c.r.a.p. !
I just read Spretzjnjikhow post in general discussions section on "No Golden Throne?". He replyed to your question today on the Golden Throne problem. He mentions in his 'OP' that he received the 'Empress' achievement automatically, like you did, when uniting Calradia (Manifest Destiny) 'as a vassal'?. This is an Achievement bug!.
My Manifest Destiny and Empress achievements both show that they were received on the exact same day and time?. All this time I throught it was just an error on the part of the game.
I did go on to unite all of Calradia as a female character after I united all of Calradia as a vassal to Arwa the Pearled one. I just didn't notice that I had also received the Empress achievement as a vassal.
Now we know that this statement is incorrect. I got the Empress achievement before starting my own kingdom.
The question now is; Can you get the 'Golden Throne' achievement as a female character if you don't go for the 'Manifest Destiny' in the same game play?.
The answer is; No! Golden is for male characters and Empress is for....
But I think you can unlock Golden Throne as a female of you don't go for Manifest Destiny before ! :)
I'm trying Golden Throne with a male character and I will notice you about the result (in two weeks I think maybe more) :-)
?
I've waited to see if you'd be interested before I offer the gift reward to someone else. Would you be interested in trying it?
