Crossbows: High base stats, no Skill requirements, but no Power Draw + STR requirements
Crossbows are a good choice if you're playing a melee warrior build and want a ranged weapon for stuff like huge battles and sieges, since you don't need to invest in a whole other skill. Bows on the other hand have way better "late-game" performance once you have a good bow+high power draw+high proficiency, but require a build based around them in order to reach their maximum potential.
Even so, that's fine - No biggie. The question gets asked, now and then, still. May as well have it up.
