Battle Time! ( Turn Warband Single-player battles into Multiplayer CO-OP! )

Hi, I am a long, long time player of Mount & Blade and I discovered a mod for Warband called Battle Time! that allows you to take your single player battles into multiplayer so you can co-op with your friends! To me, this is crazy amazing. Naturally, it saves the results and loads it into your game at the end, too.

The only problem is, it will NOT work on the steam version. The mod is for Warband 1.153, and the steam version is 1.154. But fear not! For all you need to do is go to www.taleworlds.com and hit the Mount & Blade Warband icon and download the stand-alone version. You can use the CD-key you got from steam for this version and it will work just fine. The developers are so user-base friendly!

TO FIND YOUR CD KEY: Right-click Mount & Blade: Warband in the steam library and click view CD-Key.

You will need to download Warband Script Enhancer, but it should come with Battle Time! : Which can be downloaded at http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=150827.0

!You HAVE to start Warband with the Script Enhancer for it to work! This can be found in your Mount & Blade: Warband root folder and it is called "WSE Loader.exe"

You will also HAVE to start a new game, as far as I can tell.

It will be pretty straight forward from there.
1. Save your game right before and enounter (if you forget it will give you the option "give me time to save" or just leave if it is a bandit lair or infested village)
2. Start a battle(most encounters will work, amazingly) and hit "Set up Multi-player Battle"
3. Hit the option again (Will have turned into "quit")
4. Now you will be at the main screen, now immediately host a multi-player game
5. Have your friends join you, over LAN or even internet! (Explained below)

You can make this work over the internet by forwarding port 7240 (Beginning and Ending or whatever;) ) on your router. Now your friends will be able to see your server!

If you have trouble figuring out port forwarding, you can find easy guides for it just google Warband port forwarding.

!!! This is really straight forward and SOOO convenient once it is set up !!!
Soon, you will be playing your single player battles with your friends, and I can tell you from first-hand experience that this is such a blast

How did you get your steam key to work? My steam CD key is 6x4, but the 1.153 version requires a key that is 4x4

Sorry man, you won the bad luck lottery. This is a new issue with steam for a game that has been out for years... yikes.


"There seems to be a problem with steam keys atm, the ones given out don't work.

You can hang tight and wait for a working key, or contact steam support/taleworlds support ([e-mail])"

This is an ancient thread at this point, but just to update (and become a level 10 thread necromancer), the only way I got help with this issue was by reaching out to both steam and taleworlds. See the above for contact info. I hope this helps someone
